After years of serving families throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs through school programs, camps, private lessons, and community events, we’re celebrating a milestone that means so much to us, a place we can finally call home. Never played chess? Perfect. Our coaches will walk you through the basics from the very first move, in a relaxed, low-pressure setting designed for complete beginners of all ages. No experience needed. Just show up ready to learn.
Boards will be set up and ready from the moment doors open until close. Play a casual game against a friend, take on a puzzle challenge, or sit down with someone new. The whole space is yours to explore.
Our instructors bring chess to schools across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs every week. This is your chance to meet them in person, ask questions about our programs, and see firsthand how CCA teaches kids to think, focus, and grow through the game.
Multiple raffle drawings throughout the day with prizes including a free CCA membership, a private lesson, a premium chess set, and more. Every guest has the chance to earn entries, the more you participate, the better your odds.
